As a CPA practicing exclusively in the tax area I have always been passionate about the complexities of the tax law and the infinite variety of interesting questions that arise. In the mid-1980s, I was the tax manager of a medium-sized local CPA firm and found out first-hand what it is like to struggle alone with all that complexity without anyone to whom I could reach out for occasional guidance and assistance. In 1992 I created The Tax Resource Group to be an on-demand resource to other tax professionals who are confronted with the very same situation that I faced in my earlier years. Since then The Tax Resource Group has helped thousands of tax practitioners across the country with their most vexing tax problems.
