Estimator - Duties include analyzing proposed change orders for contract modification and preparing the Independent Government Estimate(s) (IGE). Which require: Researching plans and specifications for required scope of work; Evaluating proposed implementation of the change in accordance with the contract; preparing the estimate of labor to produce, material and equipment to be used, and considering any additional factors. The total proposed change orders I have completed from the prime contractor stand at: $ 9,636,053.00; my estimates on behalf of the government amount to $ 6,252,001.00, a saving of $3,384,051.00 Office Engineering Section. Fulfilling the duties of an Office Engineer, include review of contractor submittals for compliance with specifications and distribute reviewed documents, on behalf of the Contractor to either the architect or engineer of record for acceptance and/or approval. I was required to distribute electronic copies of the submitted documents to various personnel through ConstructWare (Clark/Belfour-Beatty) and Residential Management System (RMS) USACE.
