I worked closely with senior leaders to ensure their strategic vision for the organization was achieved.Major accomplishments in this role include: ● Worked with leadership from 7 training teams, a planning coordination team, opposition forces, and exercise planners totaling over 350 personnel to create unique training plans addressing identified skill gaps; managed a $20M budget to plan and execute a culmination exercise training event as part of National Joint Training preparing for deployment; preparation took 8 months for 10 days of execution; each training team reported 100% of training goals were met, achieving certifications for deployability and contingency operations worldwide. ● Developed and trained a company staff (50 personnel) in preparation for deployment to Afghanistan; developed standard operating procedures; identified skill gaps personnel with little to no experience and prepared a training strategy to operate a 24-hour Joint Operations Center (JOC); increased performance by 80% by the end of the training cycle; efforts led to the JOC staff receiving recognition for their performance from senior military leaders.● As part of the Afghanistan Retrograde, applied structure and capabilities assessments to solve problems in order to maintain defensive posture in an ambiguous and continuously changing environment; utilized analytical frameworks to develop sequenced transfer of equipment and personnel while measuring organizational capabilities; organized and planned the secure transfer of over $100M worth of equipment and supplies and over 200 personnel.
