Engineering support of slot die roll coating equipment, roll presses and die cutting. For multi million dollar startup company, involved in High Power Lithium ion battery production. Batteries are used in military, stationary power generation storage, transportation and maritime. Roles include:Engineering support of critical plant equipment including: High Shear Mixing, Slot Die Coating, Metal Slitting, Calendaring and Rule Die Punching in a US FED STD 209E, ISO 7 Clean Room environment: Including- ID of critical spares, equipment upgrades and ordering of parts Asset efficiency improvement and up time studies Daily Operations support/ troubleshooting of sensors, gear boxes, slot die coating, IR, vision systems and steam cure. Testing of solvent resistant materials CAD of critical spare parts.Project Engineering for Capital improvements: Support of future expansions of Coating Equipment, High Vacuum ovens and solvent recovery units Including- Schedule of rigging and planner meetings, Interface with EH&S/ OSHA, Operations, Maintenance and Logistics/ Supply chain to implement equipment purchase/ placement and planned equipment outages.Coordinate and assign international teams for equipment down time and repair including Quality visions/ NG marking systems and Calendar drums. Project Engineering Support of New Initiatives: Specify and validation of new Vendor materials and equipment including base and intermediate materials and components
