Just hired to work in Oceans program for Port Townsend School District in continuing contract for this upcoming school year. Planning on using math and science skills to work with students that prosper under different more outside of the boxing learning environments, using project driven learning experiences that I love, and where creativity can thrive.

Muckleshoot College Site

Teaches all environmental science courses in four year Native American college. Courses are culturally integrated, and more project oriented. Looking forward to another quarter and working with Native Americans where building relationships and making learning pertinent matters.

Kitsap County

Created curriculum and lesson plant and taught environmental science course to 8th grade. Worked as intervention counselor for junior high students, and taught math labs and study skills classes through duration of school year for junior high students. Loved filling in for any 99.9 percent of any math or science teacher.

Tacoma, Washington

Teaching math/Science 7th-12th grade with Eastern European students, and leading worship in Slavik Christian center.

Port Orchard, Wa

Worked with students in smaller and more creative learning environments to help them be successful in math and science.

Suquamish, Wa

Created culturally connected curriculum in math and science and taught that more project based curriculum to students in grade 9-12. Also had connections with Olympic College as adjunct instructor that allowed these students to receive concurrent college credit in my classes when they achieved grades B or higher. Sadly the decision was made by the tribe to close the Early college high school in 2011, and the teachers and students had to go elsewhere to other learning institutions. Many students from tribal affiliations thrived in this learning environment, and I am still passionately involved in teaching Native Americans at college level in Muckleshoot tribe project driven culturally connected science classes.
