After graduating with honors from Churchill High School, Robert joined the United States Navy Nuclear Power program, where he served with distinction for 13 years on several sea going commands and as an instructor. Robert then joined Analog Devices as an equipment technician in the MEMS semiconductor field. He was quickly promoted to Associate Equipment Engineer for the Etch area. He was personally recognized for saving the company over 36,000 dollars in repair cost by manufacturing parts locally with in-house materials. Robert moved to Lilliputian Systems when Analog Devices announced the upcoming closing of the facility. At Lilliputian Robert was an Equipment Engineer in charge of all equipment on site, facilities and wafer fab. Pursuing an exciting opportunity in the NanoTechnology field Robert joined Nano-C, where he took on the position of Equipment Engineer in charge of building an advanced prototype combustion reactor for the production of fullerenes.Moving to Pixtronix Robert assumed the position of Equipment Engineer and Data Verification Engineer. He produced an automated data review program to ensure test data integrity. He was also given the additional responsibility of Safety Officer to ensure that Pixtronix was compliant with it's parent company Qualcomm's safety policies.Robert has attended the OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER, 24-Hour HazWaste Tech, 8-Hour 1st Responder & Operations, 8 Hour DOT Hazardous Materials and the Incident Commander training required for the state of Massachusetts.
