Robert Lynn took his first sales job at the age of 12 when his grandparents hired him to sell Civil War artifacts at their antique shop in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Beginning his real estate career in 1999 with The Corcoran Group and Corcoran Group Marketing, he joined Halstead Property Development Marketing in 2006. Since then, Robert has closed over $1B in residential transactions. In the summer of 2015, he successfully brokered a $6.49M penthouse sale at Oosten, the highest price ever paid for a home in the history of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. In 2021, Robert was named Senior Sales Director for Brown Harris Stevens Development Marketing.Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Robert and his family moved to Wayzata, Minnesota shortly after his tenth birthday. His father, the late Mike Lynn, was the storied Executive Vice President/General Manager of the Minnesota Vikings Football Club from 1974 to 1990. Robert loved and appreciated the privilege of being able to work for the Vikings at their training camp each summer, first as a ball boy and later as a PR assistant. The countless interactions he experienced with players and coaches on those Vikings teams had a profound and lasting impact on Robert that remains with him to this day. Robert attended Indiana’s prestigious Culver Military Academy, where he was named the school’s first ever Josh Logan Musical Award recipient upon graduation. As Company Athletic Officer, he led his unit, the Culver Band, to its first and only Athletic Bowl victory in school history. After attending Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, Robert settled in Manhattan. He went on to coach football at Xavier High School in the late ‘80s and then assisted his dad with the launch of NFL Europe in the early 90’s, serving as Assistant to the General Manager/Defensive Coordinator of the Barcelona Dragons Football Club. In 2022, he released a Soul/R&B album entitled Intermezzo under his stage name, Bobby Lynn. He resides in Manhattan’s East Village with his wife, son and Burmese cat.
