As co-founder and President of Walk With Us NYC, Inc., Roberta Benzilio’s non-profit organization focuses on bringing dignity, comfort and relief to NYC’s homeless children, women and men by providing them with new shoes and socks. Additionally, they pair people and organizations who can help those that need help. After three decades of being highly accomplished and successful in real estate, Roberta now consults to real estate firms and keeps active by engaging in real estate sales and development for select clients. Before retiring from her full time position, she brought her top-caliber experience to Terra Development Marketing as Executive Vice President. Overseeing the company's new development projects for Halstead Property and Brown Harris Stevens, Roberta facilitated operations, direction and management of new business, pre-development planning, client relations, marketing, training and sales for all projects. Prior to her EVP position, Roberta previously served as Executive Director of Sales of Brooklyn for Halstead Property, managing 3 offices, new developments and the firm's strategic growth in the area for nearly 2 years. Previously she held the position of Senior Director of Sales for Halstead Property Development Marketing for 3 years, overseeing 30+ projects throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn and Long Island City. Throughout her career, Roberta has enjoyed a reputation not only as an exemplary professional, but as a well-recognized authority offering the most reliable information. With expertise in residential sales, commercial real estate and new construction, she established ties with major developers, investors and brokers throughout the city.In her earlier years in real estate, she was rewarded for her diligence and superior results with rapid advancements over 23 years at William B. May Company, one of NYC's most distinguished brokerage firms. Ultimately becoming President in 2004.Her love of personal interaction and background in psychology have served Roberta well in real estate and now in the non-profit arena . When not hard at work, Roberta travels, plays music, hikes and trains her parrot.
