Robert McQueen is the Director of Information Technology for the Township of Franklin, Somerset, NJ.McQueen provides leadership for the continued development of an innovative, robust, and secure information technology environment throughout the Township.The primary responsibilities for his office encompass a wide variety of strategic technology issues:• Governance and policy• Resource allocation• Information technology protocols• Network Infrastructure• Network Security• Project Planning/Implementation• Daily oversight of Technology support Franklin Township’s Information Technology provides support for technology, delivery of IT infrastructure and services, information security systems and compliance, administrative systems, and client support services.McQueen represents the Township’s information technology interests by affiliating with several regional and International organizations, including:• GMIS International (Past-President)• NJ GMIS• NJ League of Municipalities Legislative Committee*
