Robert Michael grew up in a small town north of Flint, MI renamed after the main road that ran through town, Country Line 10, CL-10, Clio Michigan. Growing up he juggled his passion for the performing arts with his family's heavy passion for dog-sled racing (think "Snowdogs" the movie). Bobby became skilled at playing the clarinet by his early teens and learned to play the piano by ear without sheet music, a skill he is still learning and growing in. By the time Bobby was in high school, he was dancing, singing, acting, playing in live orchestras, dog-sledding with his family on the weekends, and trying to have a social life.Robert quickly rose to the top his ranks with his young acting career, placing in the top 3 during a Michigan state-wide acting competition known as Forensics at age 17 and winning several awards for his local musical productions and live music performances including the John Phillip Sousa award for music excellence.Robert has been honored with the Irene Ryan actor's nomination for the Kennedy Center for his performance in "The Drowsy Chaperone" as well as been chosen as a partner for a few other award nominees. Bobby is currently working in his field as a choreographer, actor, and singer/dancer. Robert has worked with/been affiliated with companies such as Quirky, GE, HIS players, RWS and Associates Entertainment, Palace Entertainment, Avalon Artists, CBS Entertainment (Survivor LIVE show), HBO, TNT, ABCFamily, Idlewild Park, Magic Screams, Six Flags New England, Birch Run Forensics, American College Dance Festival, Model and Talent Expo presented by Mike Beaty (Dance audition workshop teacher/choreographer), and many others including print work for Petrol Advertising and AnotherWorld Media in Hollywood, CA. His latest leading film, Speakeasy to Me, will be out by summer.
