Isaf Joint Command Hq, Kabul, Afghanistan

Army deputy for the Chief, Air Operations Control Center within the IJC HQ. Responsible for coordinating and prioritizing all pre-planned and immediate close air support (CAS) requests from the Regional Commands. Coordinated closely and continuously with the Air Support Operations Center (ASOC) and the Battlefield Coordination Detachment (BCD) to ensure that COMIJC priorities were met. Advocates for Army requirements at Air Force planning conferences. Participated in planning for execution of lethal targeting operations as required.

Brigade Current Operations Chief and Urban Operations Battalion Commander. Conducted the daily Training Synchronization Meeting to lock in training events up to 72 hrs out. Also, collected and certified all unit and individual training records required for regulatory compliance to certify units as prepared to deploy. Provided trained cadre to operate the live fire "shoot house" training; reflexive fire training ranges; and urban assault courses.

Camp Casey, South Korea

Executive officer for a fires brigade composed of two MLRS battalions, a support battalion, target acquisition battery (TAB) (Q-36 and Q-37 radars), signal company, and attached air defense battery. Responsible for providing command oversight to the TAB, air defense battery, and signal company. Coordinated the efforts of the brigade S-1, S-4, S-6, and Special Staff officers, ensuring they provided support services in a timely and effective manner during both garrison and field operations. Also ensured the staff was responsive to Division HQ requirements. Served as commander's representative for the brigade's community outreach program's and also served as the commander's direct liaison to the brigade family readiness group leader and the garrison commander.

Led the Fire Support Element for the Division's Tactical Command Post and also served as a watch OIC for the CP.

Commanded a Detachment of 350 military and civilian personnel engaged in providing tactical, administrative, and logistical support for the Basic Combat Training Center with a throughput of over 5,000 new soldiers. Commanded three companies - Headquarters, Service, and C Company (Infantry). Project manager for the construction of the convoy live fire course and the deployed operations tent city with permanent hard stand tents and other structures. Also oversaw the post-fire repairs to the SPOT-C training venue.
