Senior Electrical Designer and Arc Flash Specialist passionately engaged in educating companies and their employees regarding Electrical Safe Work Practices and Arc Flash Hazards. My life goal is to ensure no one else suffers electrical burns as I did while working as a Master Electrician. To that end I have become a spokesperson regarding Electrical Safe Work Practices and provide classroom instruction, awareness seminars, and written programs (as outlined by current OSHA & NFPA 70E standards and regulations) for various sizes of companies. I also assist employers in understanding compliance issues and how NFPA 70E is used to demonstrate compliance with adopted OSHA standards. I am an NFPA Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional, one of the first 50 in the United States. I have served as an Ohio and Michigan Construction Industry Examining Board Code Instructor; am an International Association of Electrical Inspectors Member; and a Past Member for six years on the National Electrical Code (NEC) Panel 3.I am a certified NFPA 70E Electrical Safety in the Workplace Instructor, a Journeyman Electrician with IBEW Local 8, Electrical Contractor Toledo, Electrical Contractor Ohio, Master Electrician Michigan, Past Electrical Code Instructor Ohio and Michigan, and Arc Flash NFPA 70E OSHA 29 CFR Sub Part S 1910.331-335 Trainer.
