Coordinated the upgrade and installation of LED Lights for The Green Guys Group in the states of New South Wales and Victoria. The main point of contact for customers, sales agents, electricians, our warehouse staff and our contractors, for example access hire companies. An extremely busy industry gave me the opportunity to work in a pressurised environment and be involved in projects from start to finish. ● Managed customers’ expectations and dealt with issues as they arose. ● Learned to prioritise work load while still getting all my work done in a timely manner.● Reported weekly to Operations Manager on upcoming, ongoing and completed projects.● Liaised with third party suppliers to keep hire costs to a minimum while also ensuring we were offered the highest standard of service. ● Worked closely with our warehouse in Sydney and Melbourne to make sure stock was prepared for pick up or delivered to project site in a timely manner. ● Worked beside our stock controller to make sure correct stock was on hand at all times or stock was sourced from the relevant channels. ● Part of a team of three to roll out a group of healthcare facility upgrades in New South Wales. Organised stock storage containers, stock delivery and removal of all waste. Worked under strict regulations. Was complimented on my role in the project.

Turned a six-month contact into a permanent role. As a new member of the company I was responsible for administrative and customer support to the Operations Department. Whilst doing this I was learning on the job and my duties included answering inward bound calls and emails, inputting data on a monthly basis and organising public collection day events across the Republic of Ireland.• Answering and resolving all queries in a confident manner.• Developed a monthly recording system in Microsoft Excel for our collection partners’ data.• Undertaking of sampling duties on contractors’ facilities to understand waste electrical take back future requirements.• Organising and coordinating public collection events with community leaders, local authorities and customer focused retail outlets.• Creating take back reports on monthly and ad hoc basis for numerous stakeholders.• Providing training and orientation for new staff.• Logging of collection requests, liaising with collection partners and helping to reduce duplication.• Setting up and managing of field and data software.

After receiving my degree in Geography, I furthered my passion for Geography as a first year Geography tutor in NUI Maynooth. I taught first year students a range of different topics based around environmental and human geography. I would like to think, I helped these new students of university Geography to investigate, critically think and reflection on the world around them. I believe this experience gave me great organisation and communication skills.
