I have had an awesome career within the industrial sales market. From RSM to General Manager in close to 40 years. Traveled the United States, Canada, Mexico, and parts of Europe. Solving customer problems has been my expertise in this industry. Most of my career was spent in the steel industry. I pat myself on the back for being a leader in the abrasion steel world. I have solved so many wear problems I cannot count the success stories. I took it upon myself to learn all I could about the steel plate world. Applications & grades of steel became my expertise as well. My word of advise to those who are just starting or who have been around a short while is to learn applications & solve customer problems. You become so very valuable to a customer. In my time with SSAB Special Steels, I spent my days showing customers how to add strength & reduce weight in current & future equipment designs. This was so rewarding to share information with Engineers, Owners of Companies etc on how to keep them competitive in today’s business climate.I currently work for the best steel mfg. in North America Steel Dynamics. My focus is on developing the steel plate & high strength steel markets for our new Sinton TX mill. The most up to date, high tech flat roll mill in the world at this time.Only time will tell when our Sinton Mill becomes a force to reckon with in these two product lines.
