Oversaw readiness of 624 equipment sets for worldwide deployment. This included building new requirements, validating existing sets for continued accuracy and quickly processing change requests in support of global deployment requirements. Directed monthly reporting of all the Air Force’s mission support units’ readiness statistics and provides risk assessment, as well as recommendations and solutions, to mitigate shortfalls in capability.

Led a staff of over 500 logistics professionals developing and propagating Office of the Secretary of Defense and Joint Staff strategic logistics programs, as well as Defense Logistics Agency policy and processes for materiel management in support of the National Military Strategy. This Executive Directorate reviews and provides oversight of the Agency’s technical and supply policy, programs, and functional requirements. These areas include planning, order management, storage, distribution and disposition. Additionally, this office represents the Agency to the Combatant Commands, Military Services and Whole of Government partners, acting as principal advisor on planning, materiel readiness, policy implementation and collaboration across government agencies.

Coordinated planning and execution of domestic military support operations in support of Lead Federal agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security (Federal Emergency Management Agency, US Secret Service) and National Interagency Fire Center. Wrote joint doctrine, policies and directives related to Defense Support of Civil Authorities. Acted as a subject matter expert for logistics planning. Briefed senior leaders in the Department of Defense on domestic military support policies, issues and requirements. Led crisis management operations coordinating military support to FEMA following Superstorm Sandy, as well as the 2013 Presidential Inauguration and 67th UN General Assembly in New York City.

Provided logistics support to 19 other organizations across the base, including those operating and maintaining a diverse fleet of special operations aircraft. Managed fleet of 512 vehicles valued at $35 million and supply account of over 29 thousand line items worth more than $74 million.
