Creation of a new and expansive fabrication department for existing production company in order to facilitate the design and construction of incoming projects. Helped meet the challenges of a rapidly expanding company by designing key components of company infrastructure. Anticipated all facility needs including staffing, project estimating and purchasing protocols, workflow and fabrication space design, technology and technical design requirements.

Key Contributions:• Responsible for the health and safety of all participants and for maintaining an exemplary model of sound work practices. • Completion and development of written risk assessments and method statements. Induction of students to workshop space and the use of wood and metal working machines and hand tools.• Gave members a good grounding in scenic construction and scenic art techniques and practices including the fit up, get out and running of a stage set.

Key Contributions:• The appointing, timetabling and briefing of all short term or visiting members of staff on any of the 5 BATP theatre Crafts Degree courses.• Development of course structure, material and assessment criteria as well as ongoing contribution to over BATP course structure and pedagogy• Formal and intuitive assessment of student responses to assessment criteria, with written and pastoral feedback.• Delivery of course material through Studio teaching, lecture demonstration, Workshops and seminars along withcreating and developing strand specific handouts and teaching aids.• Timetabling and budgeting of day to day course operations
