More than two decades in publishing, research, and editorial, with a continuous focus on producing compelling and informative deliverables. At the Federal Reserve Bank of New York I am proud to head up a team of talented and dedicated designers, editors and digital production staff. Together we are focused on enhancing, publishing and amplifying the work of the NY Fed’s world-leading economists, in order to maintain the Bank’s reputation as a leading source globally of cutting-edge economic research. Previously, as Editorial Director Americas for the Economist Intelligence Unit’s Thought Leadership team, I was dedicated to creating compelling, credible and coherent research programs, designed to fascinate and inform a globally curious audience. Utilizing the myriad capabilities within the fantastically talented TL team and the broader Economist Group media business, we had an unequalled track record of providing creative content that generated maximum impact.Prior to joining TL, I was a Senior Consultant in the EIU’s Public Policy team. In this role, I provided highly-valued support for private firms and government agencies, delivering studies—using a range of qualitative and quantitative risk criteria—to assist in, among other things, supply chain resilience, market sizing and scenario planning. Among my other past roles I was also previously Global Risk Briefing manager, and a Regional Manager in the Middle East and Africa analysis team (and prior to that was as an Economist/Editor for over a decade). I maintain a high-profile public position, by presenting across teams internally, as well as to individual clients, government agencies and business gatherings across the US and more widely. I was also a frequent speaker in the media (including CNN, Fox and Fox Business, CNBC the BBC, and NPR).
