ESSENTIAL DUTIES1. Directs and manages all activities of the Facilities Services Department. 2. Prepare and administer the annual budget for the Department.3. Responsible for the costs for construction, maintenance, repair and operation of the buildings and grounds.4. Select design professionals for the design of new facilities and major remodeling projects.5. Negotiate and manage all construction contracts.6. Approve and oversee all maintenance, repair, and minor construction contracts.7. Use fair market value negotiations or fixed price competition in the awarding of construction and maintenance contracts.8. Administer tenant and landlord lease agreements. 9. Acts as project manager for major remodeling/construction projects.10. Ensure property taxes for real property are paid timely.11. Negotiate all real estate acquisitions and dispositions.12.Prepare and administer the annual operating and capital budgets for the Property Development Operation.
