My role as IT Support Engineer III involves administering many aspects of a growing, SaaS-based company with a small IT team. One of my primary responsibilities has been taking a lead in Corporate Security. This includes implementing & enforcing endpoint security policies, rolling out cross-platform Full-Disk Encryption, management of quarterly phishing/security awareness campaigns, CASB implementation & administration, among others. During the vey quick transition to working from home, it was essential that we put our most critical technology resources behind additional security measures to ensure a smooth and secure transition to a new remote working environment. In addition to my Corporate Security role, I'm also heavily involved in general systems administration of a mixed Mac, Windows 10, and Linux environment. I am regularly tasked with endpoint management & patching, LDAP integrations, MDM policy enrollment/management, and endpoint reporting. I am also the primary team member that handles employee on/offboarding. It is a critical responsibility of mine to ensure that no remaining access is in place once an employee leaves the company, which I have made more efficient with the help of SaaS API automations & enhancements.Outside of my daily Security and Systems Administration tasks, my other primary task is simply ensuring that all users have a positive experience with their technology. I am regularly troubleshooting technology issues with end-users via our ticketing portal, handling access requests for our large SaaS application catalog, and ensuring we keep an organized & accurate asset management environment.

My role at Arconic is a very well-rounded mix of just about every aspect of administering a Windows Active Directory environment. My larger projects include the deployment of SCCM/SCOM Current Branch infrastructure for maintaining our environment, scripting and packaging applications for company-wide deployments, SharePoint 2010/2013 administration and development, as well as creating a means to move all users to new Windows 10 PC's with a click of the mouse. Everyday tasks include monitoring and resolving user tickets across various systems, planning for workstation and server patching, providing accurate reports of our infrastructure, performing Active Directory queries and administration tasks, and ensuring all users of our technology have a positive experience. My goal is to always do every aspect of my job with a great attitude and a positive outlook.While my current role is heavily server and infrastructure-based, I am also very involved with communicating and assisting users all across the company with their technical issues. I strive to provide top-class customer service, regardless of the issue.
