I am a recent Ph. D. graduate from the physics department at the University of Toronto. During my studies, I used a range of analytical and numerical techniques to study the properties of frustrated magnetic systems. This research led to 6 peer reviewed publications with over 100 citations, as well as multiple presentations at conferences. During my studies, I worked with a variety of students, postdoctoral fellows and professors, and I helped to mentor incoming graduate students.Throughout my undergraduate and graduate studies, I tutored a wide range of mathematics and physics courses, including calculus, linear algebra, classical mechanics, electrodynamics, relativity and condensed matter physics. By doing so, I have learned to effectively teach people with a wide range of backgrounds and skill levels.Since my studies ended, I have been working as a software developer, first at a machine learning startup followed by in a Physics research institution.
