The project initiative involved reverse engineering existing codebases to determine if a redesign was necessary relative to business needs, testing the transformation of large datasets via custom queries, testing process performance to determine where optimization/tuning was necessary, and documenting the behavior of final products.• Performed validation of manual SQL data patches. The process involved a strong understanding of internal business rules, staging source data in temp tables to confirm the end state of the targeted datasets via custom query, as well as negative testing to confirm that no corruption occurred as a result of the operation.• Tested OpenSearch data pipelines and search capabilities. Testing involved a robust understanding of the NoSQL platform and domain-specific query language.
