CurrentI am currently based on the roads Policing department. The role includes: Detailed investigations into fatal road traffic collisions. Files and reports generation for Crown Court, litigation and the Coroner. Crisis Management. Dealing with the scene, public and other stakeholders at significant incidents. I have dealt with thousands of crime incidents, I am well versed in crime reduction techniques and the physical security of large buildings. I am familiar with the Secured by Design methods of crime reduction. I am trained in the identification of building weak spots and the best method of entry.Stakeholder management. As an Incident commander I organize the response of the Police and manage the scene whilst coordinating with outside agencies.I am a tutor constable and an NVQ assessor, responsible for the development of new officers. I train and complete detailed reports on progress, either signing the officers off or instigating disciplinary procedures for poor performance.High level communication skills, I am able to communicate successfully with bereaved families as a family liaison officer. I routinely communicate with suspects, victims, lawyers and the press.I work well under pressure situations, I am an advanced police driver and trained to manage pursuits which place enormous responsibility and pressure on a individual.I work closely on operations with the National Crime Agency and on other large scale operations. These are highly regarded and trusted positions within the Police.
