I am the General Manager at Vistek Structural Engineers where I coordinate all aspects of our service delivery to ensure our clients get great outcomes for their projects.Key to our approach is challenging the status quo - and in structural engineering there is a lot of status quo to challenge.Through research and experience my team and I have helped bring to market innovations across a wide spectrum of the construction industry, such as blast resistant structures built from steel studs less than 2mm thick, concrete-less foundations, and domestic extensions that can get to "lock-up" in less than a week. My special passion is exploring the opportunities that sustainable timber products offer the local construction market and I am heavily involved in looking at new applications for Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) in both residential and commercial projects.
