CurrentOBO/PDCS/PDC/NEA-SCA (Near Eastern and South Central Asian Affairs) Division ChiefLocated in the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations, Program Development, Coordination and Support Directorate, Office of Project Development and Coordination (OBO/PDCS/PDC), provides program management, project management, and support for capital and major rehabilitation construction projects in the Near Eastern Affairs (NEA) and South and Central Asian Affairs (SCA) regions.Responsibilities:• Directs and manages major design and construction project development from inception through project completion, including oversight of the RFP process.• Serves as Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to ensure contracts are properly monitored, administered, and executed.• Conducts project development and design phase activities, including pre-design conferences, project studies and assessments, due diligence and initial planning studies site visits.• Plans, directs, and coordinates the work of the Division to meet the needs of management and assigned functional responsibilities.• Directs the work of the technical staff of the Division engaged in providing project management oversight.
