About Robert Tanguay

I'm an experienced Product Manager who loves leading teams, learning new things, and producing meaningful outcomes. I'm unabashedly not a Type A leader but rather enjoy a quiet and measured approach to leadership, delegating freely, asking lots of questions, and gathering the necessary information to make well-informed decisions. I like to move quickly but not recklessly and always with consideration as to where we're going and why. Flexibility is important to me too - you have to be able to adjust as more information surfaces and sometimes you need to do things to force that information to come forth (nothing like a good Beta or MVP to get the juices flowing!). For the last 6+ years I've been with Thunderhead (acquired by Medallia) working on some of the most complex technologies and spaces on the planet. In addition to this SaaS B2B2C experience, which has included work on Mobile SDKs, I've also built and launched a contact center app and worked on a consumer website.

The Thunderhead ONE Engagement Hub, acquired by Medallia in February of 2022 and renamed Medallia Experience Orchestration, was a multi-year leader in the Real Time Interaction Management and Journey Orchestration Forrester waves. My greatest successes have been bringing a brochure level feature to market that resulted in one of our customers realizing $1M annual revenue increase and doing a number of critical enhancements that positively improved NPS and CES scores. I'm known for my collaborative approach to working with engineering and internal stakeholders and I'm passionate about delivering real value to our customers!
