My passion has always been helping people who are disenfranchised low income, marginalized, and unable to navigate the continuum of care due to intellectual or cognitive impairment. Oftentimes these individuals and their families find themselves in crisis due to lack of information and resources which could help to reduce the specific risk or alleviate the presenting crisis such as threat of eviction, homelessness, domestic violence, abuse and trauma. I enjoy meeting people in their own environment whether it be at their home, medical facility, coffee shop, or community agency. My interpersonal skills, calm demeanor, non-judgmental attitude allows clients to be at ease and work through the obstacles which impact their lives. I have worked with a variety of populations include children, disabled adults, and seniors. My years of experience has allowed me to gain access to clients who are resistant, combative, or difficulty to engaged. I am looking for an opportunity to connect with a Human Service Organization who is seeking an enthusiastic, flexible, self -motivated,strong, interpersonal skills, and committed to their client’s individual goals and autonomy..
