• Served as embedded Linux platform technical lead for the wireless router product group. These products were developed using TI AM37x and Qualcomm MDM9x15 chipsets. Both of these chipsets contain ARM-based processors.• In addition to technical lead also responsible for the following:o Build environment of embedded Linux distributiono Open source package selection, integration, and runtime configurationo Boot loader modifications and maintenance (updates from vendor)o Kernel modifications and maintenance (updates from vendor)o Board support packages for multiple productso Kernel device drivers for battery chargers, battery fuel gauge, LEDs, switcheso Kernel event library using netlink messageso Battery charger state machine and system power state machine• Worked extensively with HW team during design phase and initial board bring up.• Established C coding guidelines and code review process used by the embedded Linux team.

• Designed and developed Linux device drivers for LSI Tarari T1000 and T2000 family of Content Processors. The device drivers were developed for X86 64-bit server platforms and MIPS 64-bit embedded platforms (RMI and Cavium). These devices support PCI, PCI-X and PCIe interfaces.• Developed automated build and regression test framework using bash and expect scripts.• Assisted hardware engineers in isolating failures that were detected on the T2000 emulation platforms.

• Designed and developed Linux device drivers for WiMAX chip set that supports USB and SDIO interfaces. The device drivers were developed for Intel based laptops (USB) and a Freescale i.MX27 reference platform running MontaVista Mobilinux (SDIO).• Designed and developed MAC protocol stack for two generations of WiMAX base stations. The first generation product consisted of an Intel based cPCI card running MontaVista Real-Time Linux. The second generation product was a proprietary PowerQUICC III based cPCI card running ThreadX. As a member of the LMAC team my responsibilities were Data Plane algorithms and performance.

Designed and developed the following software for a PowerPC VxWorks system:• Stanag 4575 file system for Fibre Channel HBA using SCSI FCP through a Raw Initiator SCSI interface.• Common API for existing proprietary file system and Stanag 4575 file system.• Multithreaded application for real-time recording and playback of data for FC disk using IRIG 106 Chapter 10 Flight Recorder Standard. Worked extensively with FPGA designer to analyze and correct PCI throughput issues.• Real-time trace library.• ELF object file loader.

• Designed and developed device driver and application library for 16-port Gigabit Ethernet switch (SwitchCore) for database product. This software ran on a PowerPC (MPC860) embedded Linux system. The device driver provided a network interface to the switch's packet buffer and interrupt processing for MAC address learning. The library provided methods for programming L2/L3/L4 packet classification, bandwidth distribution, MAC, PHY, address learning CAM, RDRAM, VLAN and Spanning Tree.• Designed (from RFCs) and developed DHCP client, DHCP server and TFTP server.• Implemented Spanning Tree algorithm from IEEE Standard 802.1D.• Implemented following modifications to existing Linux device drivers:o Bridge network driver - support for classification of Oracle client/server packetso Block driver - support for flash memory file systemo RS232 - support for 6 serial ports on MPC860
