Temporary Manufacturing Engineer
· Approx. 6 month contract as a manufacturing/design engineer using Solidworks and FeatureCAM. I designed machine fixtures for HAAS/KIT Mills to produce the new SOLO Handle design, among others.· My primary task was to obtain $100K/yr in cost of goods savings, and by the end of the contract date, it had reached over $200K/yr.⦁ Cost savings were obtained through the redesign of machined parts for high speed (50K rpm) medical drills, and conversion into casting and metal injection molding.· Other projects involve large scale product insourcing, and assembly/machine shop support. · MicroAire is a LEAN manufacturing environment.
Production Engineer
⦁ 3 month contract editing drawings (varieties of CAD) and updating Product Data Management System (SAP) to accommodate GE name change.
Mechanical Engineer
