•Principal advisor to the Chief Executive Officer for an organization comprised of 197 military and civilian personnel.•Oversees morale, welfare, standards & discipline for personnel supporting nuclear deterrent component of the US arsenal•Serves as a key member of the policy making and general operating planning leadership staff.•Manages and direct human resources activities; interprets and enforces policies and applicable operating procedures.•Mitigates the full spectrum of personnel issues for military personnel & families•Manages commander's programs, provides local agency referrals, counsels pers & coordinates w/base law office•Monitors unit administration and reviews all enlisted actions ensuring adherence to Air Force quality force standards•Plans and program work commitments and schedules.•Develop and implement personnel awards and recognition programs.•Counsels and advise leadership on all personnel matters to include: personnel placement, effective utilization, Disciplinary and non-disciplinary actions.•Monitors the timely submission and processing of personnel evaluations and appraisal systems.

•Managed a 50-personnel flight tasked with security of the United States most sensitive resources and weapons systems. •Organized, trained and evaluated personnel for effective day-to-day and emergency operations. •Led command and control of all security patrols for crisis management and counter terrorism practices against DoD personnel and resources.•Led, managed, and directed law enforcement and emergency management operations. •Supervised 3 flights composed of 48 personnel. •Directly managed 3 support staff sections--Military Working Dogs, Police Service, and Confinement activities.

•Oversaw inspection of Criticality, Vulnerability and Risk Assessments, processing results to senior leaders which are utilized to build installation security postures and vulnerability mitigation efforts.•Served as a key member on various committees and working groups to include the Integrated Base Defense, Threat and AT Working Groups; formulates, develops and presents clear and concise dialog resulting in development of base security practices.•Researches, interprets, analyzes and implements USAF, DoD and Homeland Security guidelines, polices and regulations. Evaluates relevance and reliability of both classified and unclassified information to understand adversary strengths, weaknesses; recommends increased security measures to maximize integrated base defense effectiveness by optimizing friendly force strengths, exploiting adversary weaknesses, and countering adversary strengths.

•Maintained detector dog records and related documents. •Provided inter-agency MWD support for military, local, and federal police agencies. •Supervised the law enforcement desk as well as patrolman response to alarm activation's, incidents, complaints, accidents, maintaining order at the scene. Oversaw the collection, seizure, and collection of evidence. •Conducted interviews, made apprehensions, and prepared/reviewed related police reports. Conducted funds escorts, building checks, and performed searches of vehicles and persons•Responsible for developing and implementing an effective training program for cadre of 8 U.S. and 4 Kyrgyzstan State Security Service (SSS) Explosive Detector and Patrol Dog teams. •Scheduled, planed, and coordinated operations on proper utilization and certification of assigned teams. Ensured that all assigned dog teams are proficient in their duties by frequent evaluation of their duty performance on their assigned post. •Maintained related dog records, prepared reports, and carries out all duties as alternate custodian for drug and explosive aid accounts. Coordinated inter-agency Military Working Dog support for military, local, and federal police agencies. •Managed 12 canine teams in explosive, drug detection to include patrol dog operations in support of Department of Defense mission in Alaska and the United States Secret Service support of the President of the United States and Congressional Delegations.•Controlled all facets of canine law enforcement operations supporting a 9,000 person community.
