My role as Sr. Vice President of Sales is to drive brand recognition and affinity for Protech Theatrical Services among specifiers of stage rigging equipment. I bring over three decades of experience to promoting Protech's 25+ years of award winning design, manufacturing and installation services within the entertainment and material handling equipment industries.Protech manufactures a complete line of both above stage and below stage equipment with the latest touch screen control technologies. North Las Vegas, Nevada

My first project was to manage the manufacturing and rigging design for the Wynn Parasol project and seeing the project through to completion. It was quite an experience and an honor to work with such talented people at Wynn Design Development, Roger Thomas, Marisa Marino and Rick Gray. Prior to the installation of the Parasols both Mr. Wynn and Mr. Thomas came to our facility to personally approve each of the parasols prior to shipment. What an experience to work with such visonaries. Many projects of unique character and design each with their own energizing and technical challenges followed. Most recently culminating with what is reportedly the world’s largest chandelier at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. More than 2,000,000 crystal beads whimsically arranged in a four story 80 foot diameter sculpted chandelier that encompasses a three story bar, an unbelievable feat accomplished for the visionary designers at the Rockwell Group in NYC.

Las Vegas, Nevada Area

Brought numerous new products to market in the performing arts industry including; LinkLift™, SmartMotion™ and NySteel™ sheaves. Project managed special projects including concert halls and universities. Specialized in variable acoustic structures, draperies and stage machinery. The last project that I sold and project managed was at the world famous Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles California. We furnished and installed the LinkLift motorized platforms, moveable choral riser system, and wireless computerized control system.

Key Accomplishments • Collaborated with engineers and management in Vienna, Austria on cross-marketing shared technologies and assisted in the implementation of project management processes mandated by the new European management team. • Setup installation schedules, managed operating budgets, communicated with Trade Unions. • Promoted to Director of Installation shortly after corporate acquisition. Started as an apprentice in theatrical rigging manufacturing, sewing theatrical draperies working as a protégé to the Owner, Mr. James Kuebler. Also apprenticed as an installer and salesman in the performing arts industry catering to high schools, colleges and universities. The last two years were spent selling and project managing rigging projects across the United States for classic theater renovations, large arena and university projects.
