I am a Cultural Resources Management (CRM) consultant and Precontact period archaeologist with over 30 years experience throughout the U.S. Southwest, Great Basin, and Columbia Plateau. My work routinely includes proposal preparation and project management in support of: Class I and III inventories, monitoring, testing, and phased data recovery; tribal consultation support; preparation of agreement documents; lithic analysis and zooarchaeology; and mentoring staff to enable them to further their careers as CRM practitioners. Significant past projects include: the 107-acre Luke AFB Solar-Power-Array data recovery; ADOT data recoveries along U.S. 60, between Florence Junction and Superior; Arizona State Routes 89A and 188, and at Marsh Station I-10 Traffic Interchange; data recovery for the Tres Rios Ecosystem Restoration Project in Phoenix and at Christiansen Border Village along the U.S.-Mexico Border; analysis of microvertebrate remains from Marmes Rockshelter along the lower Snake River; and administering the preparation of a Historic Properties Management Plan for the Murray Springs Clovis Site.Much of my career has involved assisting public and private clients achieve compliance within the framework of the National Historic Preservation Act.
