Responsible for leading the execution of coal, gas, and hydro generation capital and O&M projects as well as Generation related projects such as Navigation, Dam Safety, bridge painting, Civil Construction activities, etc. through various alliances, vendors and contractors. This position creates and maintains a TVA competitive advantage through the management of key TVA modification alliance partners that provide the most cost effective services for major modifications and supplement maintenance for plant and facility improvements. It also encompasses leading Generation Project Support Services, an expanding organization that performs various support functions for TVA including the Tool Program for major TVA projects, which provides tools and equipment services to numerous TVA orgs as well as TVA alliance partners. Ensures that alliance partner performance is effective, efficient, and continually improving while complying with TVA Labor Agreements. Responsible for providing staff augmented employees to various Operations plants & organizations through alliance partners.

Senior Manager Outage Execution (2019-Present) Responsible for the overall implementation of planned outages for TVA’s non-nuclear generating assets. Managing the process and implementation of outage identification, planning, scheduling, execution, and assessment. Ensures that fleet Capital and O&M outage budgets are managed within organizational and business unit limits. Provides strategic leadership and direction to optimize outage conception, cost estimates, design and implementation through performance and analysis and improvement initiatives. 40-48 employee department with direct supervision over 3-5 Managers. Budget responsibility includes $150M-$200M annually. Establish fleet strategy and provide oversight over outage programs, processes, efficiency improvement initiatives, and overall performance monitoring. Supports development and execution of the Long Range Major Maintenance Execution Plan to support Capital and O&M budgeting. Responsible for developing seasonal and annual fleet outage schedules incorporating system and resource constraints to maximize efficiency. Provide contract technical stewardship and management oversight for fleet level outage support contracts. Develop and maintain key relationships and interfaces with internal and external agencies and companies to ensure quality communications and concerted efforts to plan, execute and report outage information and best practices Coordinate with engineering, projects, and other departments to ensure outages, projects, and major maintenance intervals for large equipment are included in an asset management plan. Plan, schedule, and execute generating unit outage work scopes to maximize their reliability and maintainability. Establish and maintain outage performance indicators and scorecards. Utilizes the performance indicators to evaluate/analyze project/SBU performance, develop and implement corrective actions and monitor improvement plan effectiveness.
