Responsible for directing day-to-day operations of the Brigade. Exercises independent judgment and initiative in rendering significant and important command decisions. Establishes procedures to ensure a systematic coordination of effort and an exchange of information among all staff elements. Executes the full range of human resources management (i.e., performance evaluations, training, awards, disciplinary actions, etc.) - Established and executed short, mid, and long range objectives with the requisite plans to include a detailed long range 5 year budget (only Brigade in US Army to provide separate input and defend product before DA).- Supervised a civilian and military staff to ensure success which encompassed a $19-21M annual budgets. - Developed and maintained an Organizational Inspection Program to ensure regulatory compliance and efficiency- Directly justified to the Department of the Army Staff to successfully procure three non-standard aircraft ($14.3M)- Spearheaded a Concept Plan (without billpayers) for the permanent utilization of Army Wounded Warriors as Marksmanship Trainers and Paralympians which was favorably supported by the Army leadership - Awarded for Leadership by the Commanding General, USA Accessions Command out of all DA Civilians in the command- Directly coordinated with various members of the Army Marketing and Research Group, under the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Manpower and Reserve Affairs, to ensure a successful transition and to maintain continuity of operations during the inactivation of Army Accessions Command.
