OverviewR4P is an ambitious initiative empowered by GYC, aimed at bolstering ongoing Nature-Based Solutions through the potent com- bination of filmmaking and social media. This comprehensive online capac- ity-building program has a two-fold objective: first, to provide 7 free training sessions to 5000 young individuals globally, a portion of whom will be active- ly engaged in NGO projects, and second, we are actively seeking funding to equip initially 50 youth-led NGOs with the essential tools required for creating compelling content that shifts the narrative from climate change challenges to ongoing solutions. By doing so, R4P aspires to inspire millions of individuals to become active participants in the cause, thereby amplifying the collective effort to combat climate change.The Global Youth Coalition (GYC)The GYC is a global organization of youngsters that supports youth advoca-cy. It works to promote youth-led action along the YOUNGO constituencies, its WGs and other youth-led organizations and networks by focusing on actions and collaborating for specific objectives, including building capacity on current negotiation streams, building common positions for declaration and submis- sions and promoting youth-led action by gathering and crowdsourcing lessons learned and best practices.The TrainingBeginning on 15 March 2024, the training will run fortnightly. Each session will feature a technical masterclass, followed by a testimonial by a youth speaker with a climate action background.
