My firm, Robert Bourke Architects, is an award-winning architecture practice based in Dublin city centre. Our projects are developed through an open, collaborative and exploratory design process resulting in unique spaces of character, integrity and material richness. We seek to create an architecture that is socially conscious, environmentally responsible and timeless in its aesthetic. Our body of work to date ranges from participatory design projects with schools and communities, to private residential work, to a recent study for a €4.5 million Family Resource Centre in Dublin’s north inner city.I have been teaching in the UCD School of Architecture since 2013. I am currently Design Fellow on the MArch Programme teaching 5th Year thesis students.
