I work as an on-call firefighter and respond to over 700 medical, alarm, and fire calls while serving as an Emergency Medical Responder

I provide strategic direction for all print operations while leading the integration of lean methodologies and tools to drive operational optimization.

I led multiple teams in various departments while implementing kaizen approaches and lean tools for continuous improvement, and directed a staff of 190, including four Managers, 13 Supervisors, 17 leads, and eight production coordinators.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS★ Mentored and coached employees in preparation to take on future management roles and used Situational Leadership tools to develop staff based on their levels.★ Devised and implemented KPIs that supported the bottom line, and directed staff and overall processes in multiple departments related to bindery, finishing, mailing equipment, cut sheet, and continuous digital presses (Monochrome and Color).★ Utilized the 3P (Production, Preparation, Process) lean tool in identifying required equipment effectively before managing large capital expenditures.★ Formulated and led the implementation of the +QDIP toll across five departments and established the Continuous Color Digital Department, utilizing expertise in project management.★ Drafted succession plans and restructured the new customer onboarding process to incorporate new technologies while working with vendors to develop and install new ink formulations.★ Presented information on capital expenditures to executive leadership, and served as a project manager while working with vendors to install, train operators, and get productions from three different presses that had not been released to the market.

I oversaw a staff of 80 employees, including four Supervisors, four leads, and two production coordinators, and directed overall operations while developing standard procedures for departments across the organization.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS★ Ensured project profitability consistently and doubled billable production operations within three years without adding headcount while implementing a new tracking system for inventory management. ★ Resolved production-related issues through coordination with clients and representatives and ensured service level agreements were drafted accurately and actioned on time.★ Trained new hires with a newly developed training program, and managed key credit bureau clients based on set company procedures while serving as a primary contact point for all vendors.★ Scheduled production for eight Xerox printers (including Igen 3 and 4), four Bell and Howell inserters, three Duplo bookmakers, one Duplo Perfect Binder, three pressure sealers, and multiple types of bindery and fulfillment equipment.

I spearheaded overall print inserting operations for a multimillion-dollar annual contract while directing a staff of 65 employees, including three supervisors.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS★ Administered production schedules for ten Xerox printers, one IKON IR150, one OCE 6250, and one CPP500 while designing and upgrading standards for Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) printers.★ Operated multiple types of Bell and Howell mail insertion equipment (1000, 4000, and Enduro) and utilized MS Visio for production floor layouts.★ Attained departmental HIPPAA compliance and prepared insightful P&L statements to support organizational decision-making processes, and obtained OCE 6250 certification while completing the Xerox accelerated training program.★ Provided forecasts on project profitability to support the organization’s bottom-line growth while effectively managing supply procurement processes.★ Maintained smooth workflow operations by ensuring project material availability and working closely with the customer service department while contributing as a Xerox Digital Print Operator for 6180, 6155, 2060, and 4635.★ Facilitated effective departmental cross-training for MBO Folder, pony stitch, saddle stitch, duplo tower, drill press, GBR inserter, inkjet, and Bourg online stitcher. ★ Conducted preventative maintenance on Xerox 6180/2060 and color calibration on Xerox 2060 while administering a document library for all project files and serving as a back-up operator on GBR inserter, inkjet and as a Shipping Clerk.
