The Aruba Campus and Data Center Technology TME team evangelizes technical solutions, creates technical content and empowers the worldwide pre-sales organization to more effectively position HPE/Aruba's campus and data center solutions.Rob has more than 20 years of experience in the networking and telecom industries and has extensive experience in designing and implementing advanced technology solutions for large enterprises networks.Rob’s career started with 8 years in the US Navy’s elite submarine force serving as an Electronics Technician specializing in RF communications and electronic surveillance. Rob earned his B.S. degree in Education, Training, and Development while serving in the US Navy. After the US Navy, he joined Atlantic Research Corporation where he designed electronic and fiber-optic systems for ROVs (Remote Operating Vehicles). Rob then joined Lockheed Missile and Space Company where he started his experience with internetworking and telephony. At Anixter & 3Com, he continued to get into more advanced systems engineering roles. Rob then joined Cisco Systems where he served in a networking engineering role with a focus on the wireless LAN discipline. During his time at Cisco, Rob earned many Cisco certifications and his Microsoft MCSE, MCSA, and MCP. In 2004, Rob re-joined 3Com as a Solutions Architect specializing in VoIP and wireless technologies. Rob also had the opportunity to advance his public speaking engagements as he participated in various wireless and VoIP technology presentations and panel discussions. In 2010, he joined HP as a result of the 3Com acquisition.Rob lives in Roseville and Trukee, CA and enjoys various outdoor activities including mountain, fat tire and road biking.
