To oversee the training of the crew, maintain the mechanical equipment on board. Maintain records of daily activities, personnel reports, ship positions and movements, ports of call, weather and sea conditions, pollution control efforts, and/or cargo and passenger status. Conduct safety drills with crew and direct all emergency management activities. Also prepare the vessel for a cruise, which included inspecting vessels to ensure efficient and safe operation of vessels and equipment and conformance to regulations. Also I feel that its always good to work with an emphasis on guest hospitality and to excel at customer service.
