As a customer review advisor, my role contains many different roles. My main duties are to carry out financial reviews for our customers, this involves reviewing their finances, presenting other options that may benefit them and also looking at legacy planning.The main skill’s I use in my role is to identify what needs a customer has, once I have.

Skipton building society internally promoted me to a new role the society had just developed, this was the financial planning consultant role, as well as completing my usual branch tasks and branch appointments this now meant I was able to service our financial advice customers also.This meant I was able to complete a financial review for an investment.

• Having been promoted to a customer consultant, my duties still include the below responsibilities however my extra duties now include:
• Complete home insurance quotes
• Arrange and completing savings reviews
• Working from my own appointment diary
• Referring life cover policy / mortgage needs from savings meetingsIn my new role I am a senior member of staff which gives me a great opportunity to lead by example. I demonstrate the correct behaviour’s at all times.

As a customer service Representative my role is to assist customers with queries and complaints and resolve any issues they may have. I also have to consider the needs of the customer and treat them with respect, politeness and helpfulness.I have to complete financial requests from customers in branch, telephone based and also via post. I pay attention to.

My role at vodafone was very customer service based and I helped customers with their challenges on a daily basis. From November 2010 until February 2011 I was moved to one of Vodafone’s stores that was closing down as the assistant manager. I was then brought in to support the current manager whilst the Orpington store was in its final stages of being.

Having worked in professional services and retail sectors I wanted to experience the building trade.I secured a 12 month training contract with the Billings Group on one of their projects. I learned about different areas including building of houses, installation of loft insulation, under-floor heating systems and paving. Once completed I decided to return.

• When Sports Direct acquired JJB Sports I was made Team leader in the accessories department and also given the responsibility of locking the store at night.
• Managing the other people in the accessories department.
• Setting an example to them and helping them to develop.
• Reported to store manager on my department’s progress.I joined JJB sports whilst studying at Bromley College and worked as a part time sales assistant selling sports products, advising on accessories such as inner.

• I carried out my two weeks work experience at Vantis plc, who invited me back to work for them during the summer holidays. Whilst I was there I learnt the need for accuracy and attention to detail.
