Managed batches of field returns as product progressed through the Product Failure Analysis process. Responsible for assembly, test, maintenance and calibration of test stations and generation of environmental test programs.- Managed all capital equipment purchases for reliability labs with annual spend of around $4M. Realized significant budget savings through sourcing alternative suppliers and negotiating improved T&Cs.- Project managed equipment introduction for start-up of 3 global Blackberry reliability labs. Purchase, shipment and installation of equipment was successfully completed, meeting all project timelines.- Eliminated outsourcing costs through introduction of specialized environmental test systems, generating annual savings of $1.1M, a ROI (return on investment) within 8 months and significant increase in test times allowing quicker analysis.- Implemented Equipment Commissioning process into Reliability lab, ensuring 100% compliance on all new and existing equipment.- Active participant in ISO 14001 Environmental Management steering committee which achieved ISO 14001 certification for the Blackberry Cambridge site.

Provided engineering consultancy services to Transport Scotland and The Scottish Executive with regard to all Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) located throughout the Scottish trunk road network.- Performed site surveys to evaluate potential impact proposed highways projects would have on existing ITS infrastructure. Designed and implemented engineering changes, minimizing impact of work on highway users.- Designed and implemented access database for management of all New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) enquiries to Transport Scotland, improving project tracking, allowing automatic generation of standard letters and helped move towards paperless office environment.- Successfully completed project to update all drawings for the Scottish ITS infrastructure by performing extensive site surveys and updating all AutoCAD drawings accordingly, improving equipment traceability throughout network- Provide engineering support for installation, service and maintenance of ITS systems throughout the Scottish trunk road network.
