Climate change is real, and an issue that affects us all. My contribution is to provide institutional, corporate and government clients with the advice, financial structuring and capital flow needed to fund projects supporting a low carbon, resource-efficient economy where natural assets are valued and managed sustainably. With more than 16 years in sustainable finance and 20 years in banking, I’ve built a career establishing new businesses in a challenging, ever-changing and politically sensitive climate across two continents. I’ve taken that to its full fruition with Natixis, growing a team of highly skilled professionals that are delivering innovative and market leading transactions from a near standing start in 2019. Coming to the world of corporate finance from a scientific background has always helped me in both purpose and in balance – enabling me to create innovative and in multiple cases, world-first, solutions that have built the organisations I have worked for into key players in the sustainable finance landscape. This is underpinned by my proven strengths in high profile relationship building (new and existing). Using conceptual thinking and experience honed at the leading edge of the sector, I deliver award-winning solutions, demonstrated through my work with Green and Sustainable bonds/loans, carbon markets, energy efficiency and clean energy financing.
