About Robert Lingstuyl

********* I'm not interested in job offers please refrain *****************I'm taking control of my life, you should too. I'm over the corporate "butt in seats" mentality. I have been an application developer since 1999; I started with the y2k conversion. Over the years I have learned many processes, technologies and methodologies. I can, and would love to continue to be, an asset from inception to maintenance. I've production experience with databases, web, windowing, servers, micro-services, cloud and most recently mobile applications; full-stacky. My programming languages are: C#, JavaScript, some Python, PL-SQL, and VB.Net (should I really mention VB???). As well, I have an excellent understanding of the SDLC using Agile Scrum, Agile Kanban and Waterfall (icky) methodologies. My job roles have been as the solo contributor, team member, leader and mentor; each have been fulfilling in their own ways. Working on difficult problems and working with a team of people to best define, execute and complete a desired goal is a real joy and is what keeps me motivated.

Listed skills include Agile Methodologies, Web Services, Software Development, Xml, and 45 others.

Apr 2016 - Present

Sr. Software Developer

Greater Salt Lake City Area

I was a contract developer brought in to help create their new customer facing product called MyHealth+. I started work on the server side creating nodejs based services using the nestjs framework. These were microservices based on RESTful endpoints. These services aggregated patient data from Cerners HL7 medical records API. When that was done my contract was extended so I could help with the customer UI's for both web and mobile. The web project was a React SPA and mobile was a React-Native project with native code implementations. These projects were complex containing many 3rd party API's and packages. After a year on the project, multiple phases and a successful initial release I found it time to take some time off. Thanks again IHC for the fun opportunity to work on this project.
