• Plan, coordinate, and execute special operations to support United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) objectives during war, contingency operations, and peacetime. When directed, command and control special operations missions of NSW and Special Operation Forces (SOF) deployed to USSOUTHCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). • Led efforts to develop an operational employment plan for Special Operations Command South’s (SOCSOUTH) first Maritime Support Vessel (MSV). • Responsible for the management and oversite of the NSWU-4 Non-Standard Maritime (NSM) program. Ensured the NSM capability is recognized as a validated program of record to educate the Special Operations community on this unique asset. • Deployed on short notice for a mission critical role as assistance Officer in Charge in a Joint Task Force after destructive weather impacted the USSOUTHCOM AOR. He led 23-person team during 20 days of continuous operations involving the coordination of 4 air assets that resulted in recovery of 1642 individuals and evacuation of 1100 American citizens.• Managed 5 collection operations. 8 Joint combined exercise training events, and 4 subject matter expert exchanges. These critical engagements with key SOF partners in 10 high-priority countries resulted in strengthened and mutually beneficial relationships.

Stennis Space Center, Mississippi

• Trained NSW Riverine Troops and Combatant-Craft Detachments to conduct worldwide special operations in a riverine environment in support of theater Commanders. • Managed, directed, and reported training, certification, qualifications and readiness for 300 personnel supporting global operational requirements• Developed new comprehensive and standardized maritime training doctrine, operating procedures, and test and certification process for SWCC detachments increasing combat capabilities• Constructed the most thorough, comprehensive, and precise command training program, directing the development of challenging and realistic mission scenarios relevant to global crisis, increasing the knowledge and tactical ability of deploying leaders to ensure combat readiness

• Led 33 personnel in the tactical employment of four Special Operations Craft-Riverine (SOC-Rs) worldwide valued at $8M. • Deployed in support of USSOUTHCOM and USAFRICOM Commanders resulting in 220 Partner Nation personnel trained in five countries. • As NSW Task Element Officer in charge and as Advanced Operating Base Executive Officer, he led 41 NSW and 110 Army Special Operation Forces personnel while managing 2.5M worth of combatant craft equipment during 13 theater cooperation training events. • Mentored the qualification of two Combatant Craft Patrol Officers, eight Combatant Craft Boat Captains, 15 chief engineers and eight expeditionary warfare personnel.
