Working on website design and implementation using PHP, JSPs, javascript, Java with the Struts framework, and Sybase for the databases. Duties include designing websites, database design, writing the code in java with validation for data accuracy(from start to finish in some cases),creating and writing reports and queries from the database using SQL, and trying to create the most intuitive user interfaces for ease of data entry.

Worked directly with users to answers questions, make improvements, ensure useful data reports, and troubleshoot problems. Collaborated with other programmers and Project Directors. Designed and implemented web interfaces using a variety of technologies including PHP, Javascript with various frameworks, Java with the Struts framework, HTML and XML. Designed and developed databases using Sybase and PostgreSQL. Used a code repository to store and track code. Used a bug tracking system to allow users to view the progress on their individual cases.

Worked on the user interface for a new manual systems plasma torch. This included drawing diagrams and getting approval from engineers and people from marketing. Then writing the code in C and C++. The C portion was what was actually being run on the torch. The C++ portion was used for an emulator that could be run on any windows machine for ease of review.

Worked with the Manual Systems Team to evaluate and make improvements on a new manual plasma torch system. This included running and monitoring plasma torches, measuring samples and parts using a CMM(coordinate measuring machine) and micrometers, and writing Excel macros to interpret the data.
