Robert Shaw is the current CEO of Central Coast Community Energy (3CE), one of the largest Community Choice Aggregators in California. Shaw is well-versed in finance, rate design, wholesale energy markets, regulatory matters, and emerging energy technologies. Shaw is committed to working with the agency’s boards and community stakeholders to eliminate the use of fossil fuels for energy generation.In his most recent role as Chief Operating Officer for 3CE, Shaw provided oversight for the agency’s Power Supply Resources and Energy Programs departments, procuring more than 1,000 megawatts of new renewable energy storage and generation to serve an approximate 1.5 million population on the Central Coast, and deploying nearly $20 million in energy programs’ commitments to help residents and businesses electrify local building and transportation sectors. Shaw has experience leading successful teams across a range of disciplines.
