Robert is a Board member of Promutuel Insurance. With revenues in excess of of $1,1billion, Promutuel Insurance is ranked 4th among damage insurers in Québec. During a professional career lasting 35 years, he held senior executive positions at various companies across different industries. He was Chief Corporate Services Officer (CCSO) at WSP, a global management and consultancy firm in the built and natural environment, where he led the implementation of strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing employee experience and at positioning the company’s digital offerings. Prior to WSP, he worked at Desjardins Financial Group, where he served on the Management Committee and held the role of Senior Vice-President, Technology and Shared Services. Prior to his time with Desjardins, he was Chief Information Officer at Alcan and following the acquisition of Alcan by Rio Tinto, he held the role of Vice-President, Business Transformation.He started his career with Accenture, one of the largest consulting firms in the world. During his 19-year tenure at Accenture (the last five as a Partner), he assisted clients during major transformation projects to drive business value.He graduated in 1987 from École Polytechnique de Montréal as an electrical engineer.An avid runner and cyclist, Mr. Ouellette has run 14 marathons and participated 5 times in the Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie.
