I am a recent Software Development graduate from Western Governors University and I am eager to enter the IT workforce. My knack for the technical far precedes my enrollment in this degree program. 20 years ago, I switched to the Linux desktop and I've been learning ever since. Most of my work experience has not been in the field of IT. 10 years of restaurant management and another 4 in agriculture have grown my problem solving, time management, and soft skills considerably. My college education has not only grown my technical skills in particular areas like Java or SQL, it has taught me how to learn new languages and frameworks quickly and efficiently. I look forward to my first developer job so I can learn and grow within a team environment.
