Local IT Technician, supporting end users, network, servers and software at the Oak Hill, NY location.

I provide multi-level end user support for the corporation, locally and remotely. It's extremely challenging with a diverse range of issues and users, software and hardware to support, from standard desktop applications, to custom back office applications, remote VPN support, printer and hardware maintenance and configuration. Some management of the users and groups in AD, as well as desktop setups and management.

I was one of the technicians assisting customers with various issues involving their internet connections or accounts.Remotely solved connection issues and advised customers on issues also involving virus and spyware related problems with their internet. I was promoted from standard technician to level 1 technician within 2 months before being promoted outside of the department to the internal PC Specialist/Network Administrator for the local office.
