Some examples of my current or previous casework include the following:Arguing complex regulatory issues regarding natural gas service before the Ohio Supreme Court.Successfully argued, in brief, for a partial reversal of a decision from the United States District Court, Southern District of Ohio.Argued real property and contract issues before Ohio’s Eleventh District Court of Appeals.Secured a judgment in excess of $120,000 in multi-party business litigation via summary judgment. (Currently awaiting a decision on appeal in Eleventh Appellate District.)Defended a client against claims made by a bank which was seeking damages from my client in excess of $918,000. We defeated the majority of the Plaintiff's claims and limited our client's liability to $11,400. We also successfully defended that decision at the Court of Appeals and the Ohio Supreme Court. Defended a client against several claims including breach of contract and succeeding in limiting their total liability and eliminating their personal liability.

We work hard as your consultant to find, or develop, solutions for landfilling by-products from manufacturing, waste streams, or obsolete consumer goods.Additionally, to manufacturers, retailers, distribution centers, etc. of consumer products that are no longer being retailed and are looking for a safe haven for these branded or unbranded items. Landfilling and traditional recycling methods have shown that for one reason or another many of these items still show up on social media sites or discounted web sales sites. Our transformation techniques and marketing alternatives provide our customers with solid choices of disposal and marketing, clearing valuable warehousing space, and the knowledge that these items will not compete with first line, new products.As experienced recycling consultants, we work with many manufacturers who continue to landfill large volumes of the by-products usually generated in their process. Usually this is landfilled because traditional recycling methods may not work on a consistent basis. Our task is to find and/or develop a non-traditional method for using these streams, thereby reducing or eliminating landfilling. Being 100% transparent, we work with the generator and share our road map to our destination, with all of us financially benefiting upon success.We work as a consultant on your behalf. In this capacity we set you up to work directly with the solution, bypassing any brokerage.

The Office of the Ohio Consumers' Counsel represents the residential utility customers of Ohio. As an OCC legal intern I conducted legal research, developed legal arguments and conclusions, drafted memos, and assisted in drafting pleadings. My responsibilities included supervising 19 dry rides and a team of 40+ members, creating and distributing a weekly interdepartmental newsletter, creating and implementing an employee incentive program, and contacting local businesses to negotiate for awards to be used in the incentive program.
