Since joining Halo I've been responsible for:- Successfully re-launching their online trading platform for private customers which led to its use growing by 20x, then enhancing its capabilities to allow its use to be extended to select corporate customers- Migration of in-house LOB trading platform solutions from a self-hosted VMWare infrastructure, to a hosted VMWare solution and more recently into Azure- Integration of the in-house trading platform with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM to replace the legacy CRM component; this encompassed both data migration into CRM and design of the integration solution- Design and planning for the replacement of the remaining elements of the in-house trading platform with a SaaS solution from a supplier partner in Canada, to allow the new SaaS solution to integrate with our Dynamics 365 CRM solution

Responsible for managing the Development department at Ultracomms, the first cloud contact centre solution provider in the UK, with around 8 million minutes of telephone calls flowing through the system and Ultracomms secure PCI-DSS card payment solution taking upwards of £2.5 million of card payments a month. The development department includes full-stack software developers (working with the Microsoft IIS/ASP.net/C#/SQL Server stack), software testers and DBAs. I have a broad and deep knowledge of TSQL (through SQL Server 2005 and 2000), classic ASP, HTML/CSS/Javascript and .net development (C#), as well as a good working knowledge of SQL Server administration, schema design and replication management.Major projects in this role included:- Producing a solution for the betting industry to allow near-real-time transmission of race information from on course staff to betting shops via a web client.- Architected and lead the implementation of an application integration solution for both internal and third party integration.
